A three-year-old toddler has been burnt alive in Nlone, a locality in Cameroon’s Moungo Division, Littoral Division, National Telegraph has confirmed.
Eyewitnesses say fire attacked a residence at about 6:30 AM, Wednesday, December 11, 2019, belonging to the Wonjo Family of Nlone, resulting in the demise of the child.
The first respondents struggled to contain the flames but were unable to save little Kemene Divya Ocean. Family sources are still grieving and say the loss is devastating.
Meanwhile, the charred body of Ocean has been buried at a cemetery in Nlone. The gendarmes say an investigation has been opened, adding the cause of the inferno is still unknown.
