A baby who was stolen in Limbe, a touristic city in Cameroon’s South West Region has been found and reunited with her real family, National Telegraph has been told. Seven-month-old Mark Brian Ndaseh was stolen at the Mile Four Motor Park in Limbe last Wednesday May 22, 2019, our on-the-ground source said.
Our source went on that the baby has been found at Madison Bar, a popular drinking spot in Village, a precinct in Douala III, in Cameroon’s Littoral Region, Sunday May 26, 2019.
According to information gathered, the woman who stole the child was pregnant but unfortunately miscarried. The baby, sources confirmed was stolen late Wednesday at Amour Mezam, a Travel Agency while she was traveling with the mother to Bamenda, a city in Cameroon’s North West.
While returning to Douala, the defendant saw the baby with her mum and started playing with her. As the mother of the child went to top up her airtime, she left the child with the woman in the car, on her return, the woman had taken off with the baby, National Telegraph has been told.
Late Sunday May 26, 2019 at about 5:45 PM, the baby was once again reunited with her mother in an operation facilitated by elements of the 8th District Police Station in Douala to track down the woman who took away the baby.
