Construction Company Cautions DC Drivers.

By Beltha Mokube

A company renovating parts of a road in the Washington District of Columbia (DC), United States Federal Capital has placed a warning sign cautioning drivers to run at very reduced speed to avoid accidents. The Company has placed a portable electronic traffic sign sideway arrow pointing left.

The South Dakota/Riggs Road stretch of road in Northeast DC has been blocked in parts by heavy road construction machines. Vehicles coming from the direction of the Walmart at Riggs Raod going down towards Perry Street in Northeast DC towards GoodWill are caused to share lanes with those coming from the opposite direction.

Road users driving from the Walmart at Riggs Raod going down towards Perry Street in Northeast DC towards GoodWill are advised to take extreme caution and could even run below 25mph posted speed limit once they approached the work zone. Those coming from the opposite direction are also advised to watch out for aggressive drivers especially as there is an inclement weather.
