Crash On Cameroon’s National Road Five Leaves Two Hospitalized.

By Ken Neba, Yaounde, Cameroon – Tuesday November 19, 2019.

A National Telegraph secret stringer in Djougou, captured this accident on Cameroon’s National Road Five, late Monday.

At least two persons have been seriously wounded in a crash late Monday November 18, 2019, National Telegraph has confirmed.

Reports say the accident occurred on Cameroon’s  National Road Five (5). A lorry was heading to Douala, the Central African country’s economic capital before the crash occurred, eyewitnesses say.

Other sources confirmed it met face-to-face with another vehicle traveling towards the West Region, an on-the-spot victim also recounted.

Another source furthered that in an attempt by the driver of the lorry to dodge away from the other vehicle, it went into a head-on-collision leaving his car aide “Motor Boy” and himself badly wounded.

Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital. The Accident occurred at Djougou, a locality not too far from Njombe, National Telegraph has been told.

Many have blamed the accident on the poor state of road along the National Road Number Five. Others however suggest either of the drivers was over-speeding.
