A gigantic crowd of family members, friends
Angela Elonge, 53, died on Friday December 15, 2018 in his Atlanta residence. Her family was due to travel from Maryland to Georgia for the Christmas Holiday before she died, family sources have told National Telegraph.
In one of the touching eulogies, her daughter, Minette Egbe said losing a loved one is one of the most difficult things one can go through, especially a mother who’s a best friend. “Nothing can express what I am feeling right now and I’m sure only time can help me accept the fact that my mother was one of those hard-working mothers.” Minette said.
She went on that her mother made sure her family was taken care of even when it meant she had to sacrifice something important. Minette wept while narrating how her mother taught her one of the most valuable lessons in life, (to stand up for what I believe in). There was never a time that I could not talk to her or that she would not offer advice, she cried.
Minette continued that as she grew older, she slowly understood why her mother was ruling with an iron grip. She wanted her child to succeed in life, Minette said. Though she may never have said it out loud, I know she was proud of what I have become.
I am who I am today because I had a mother like her, she lionized her. Minette Egbe told National Telegraph that her mother was generous and compassionate to extended family, friends and village elders, always ready to help, willing to level the field for her child, grandchildren, brothers and sister.
She never wanted to be acknowledged for anything she did. I promise to honor the memory of my dear mother, Angela Elude Elonge by being passionate for the causes that matter to me, and my family, Minette ended while breaking down in tears.
Two separate wakes were held in the deceased
