Franco-Swiss NGO Performs 13 Corrective Surgeries In Cameroon.

Children Action, a Franco-Swiss Non-governmental organization has performed surgeries was on thirteen (13) children in Cameroon’s capital, Yaounde. 

The campaign that was launched, November 28, 2019, finally took effect from Monday, December 2, 2019, through Sunday, December 8, 2019.

At least 13 of 80 children suffering from Uro-genital malformations underwent corrective surgeries at the Yaounde Gynecological Obstetric and Pediatric Hospital, a source has told National Telegraph.

A partnership agreement was signed between the NGO and Cameroon’s Public Health Ministry in 2009, during which the organization has performed eleven sets of corrective surgeries in Cameroon, sources say. 

The team has been to Cameroon March and December this year during which cost of the surgery has been subsidized from eight hundred thousand (800.000) FCFA to fifty thousand (50.000) FFCA.
