A yet-to-be-known number of civilians have been killed in an attack that occurred in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi.
DusitD2 Hotel, a fancy lodging facility in the capital has been attacked, Tuesday January 15, 2019.
Al-Shabab, a Somalia-based militant Islamist group opposed to the Somali government and also noted to have carried out attacks in many parts of East Africa, has already accredited the attack to its men.
A number of injured persons have been reportedly ferried out of the Five-Star Hotel to nearby infirmaries. Anasa Glory, an eyewitnesse who spoke to National Telegraph said although she couldn’t give the exact number of sufferers, at least seven persons had already died at the time of filing in this report.
