“Join me celebrate this awesome breaking news beloveth. Our official guest speaker for the event will be Lancaster City Lord Mayor, Clyde Hairston. God is always faithful. I stand unshakable trusting Him with every fiber in my being”, Dr Belinda Babila, Founder and CEO of the Belinda Babila Foundation said in an announcement.

The Foundation says it’s organizing her 1st Black Tie Fundraising Gala Event under the theme; Livelihood Sustenance and Empowerment to IDPs and Refugees in Nigeria. The event that has been scheduled for Saturday November 9, 2019 as from 8.00 PM at the Nirvana Event Center; 9550 Skillman Street, Dallas TX 75234 is entirely dedicated to refugees and IDPs resulting from Cameroon’s armed conflict, National Telegraph has confirmed.

Since the beginning of an armed conflict in Cameroon’s two English-speaking regions of the North West and South West in which armed groups are battling regular government soldiers to restore the state of Southern Cameroons aka Ambazonia, at least over two million people have been either internally displaced or living as refugees in Nigeria and other countries with a majority being women and children.

Motivated by the deplorable conditions in which most of these displaced persons find themselves in, Belinda Babila Foundation has dedicated time, energy and finances in carrying out radical outreaches, though still not adequate to meet the needs of the ever increasing number of refugees and IDPs.

Belinda Babila Foundation has also launched; Feed a Family Weekly Campaign in their Uyo Office in Nigeria, West Africa with over 6000 Cameroonian Refugees under her care. The Foundation supplies basic hygiene needs and feed Cameroonian refugee families based in Uyo weekly, monthly and has a global every-three-month outreach.
