Prof Lumumba Comments On SCLC, Makes Big Announcement.
Prof Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba is a popular Kenyan Lawyer.

A Kenyan heavyweight Lawyer who served as the Director of Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission from September 2010 to August 2011 has reacted to the creation of the Southern Cameroon Liberation Council known by the abbreviation; SCLC.

Prof Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba fondly called PLO Lumumba a Pan-African Human Rights crusader who holds a PhD in Law from the University of Ghent in Belgium has commented on the creation of the SCLC.

During a 2-day working conference in Maryland, USA, from Friday March 29, 2019 to Saturday March 30, 2019, dubbed The All Southern Cameroons People’s Conference – ASCPC, the SCLC was created.

The assembly that brought together all stakeholders of a Revolution spreading across the English-speaking regions of the North West and South West of Cameroon kicked off Friday March 29, and ended Saturday March 30, 2019, at 4095 Powder Mill Road, Beltsville, Maryland, USA with the creation of the Council.

Prof Lumumba while talking to National Telegraph by phone from his base in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi early Wednesday April 10, 2019 said the creation of the SCLC is the best thing that ever happened to the oppressed people of Southern Cameroons.

National Telegraph also gathered that the Professor would arrive the United States on Saturday April 27, 2019 in Dallas, Texas where he would hold an event before moving to Columbus, Ohio on Sunday April 28, 2019 to meet with the Southern Cameroons community, including some members of the SCLC.

In October of 2016, mere grievances of the teachers and lawyers were poorly handled by the government, turning it into a demand by majority of Anglophones for a separate state called Ambazonia with several gun battles between government soldiers and Anglophone militias.

In the Diaspora, the leaders have been largely divided which has gone a long way to stagnant the Revolution. The meeting creating the SCLC must be commended by all and sundry especially as it promotes Unity of Purpose, said PLO Lumumba.

A thing must be credited only by the people and only through its achievements, never by its creation, being, purpose, definition, role.

The SCLC is still to prove itself that it is of any value to our struggle.

We have to be very careful with this SCLC thing, I’m not against it, but I just have a bad feeling base on experience. The last thing we want is petting and feeding a python, we already have an Anaconda King Cobra in the house (The IG).

The SCLC must clearly state it’s position relative to the IG. Does it see itself as the governing and controlling body of our revolution (-that is impossible-) at the same level as the IG or a helping hand?

All we Ambazonians need to do to accelerate this independence war is go to our counties and play our role. It is sad that some of the people who are presenting themselves as leaders are not even able to do such, but want to lead us.

I admire the decision and action of the restoration forces in Fako and the Fako county to vehemently reject the order to suspend the lockdown in Fako. That is the way forward.
