US Withdraws 22 Children Of Embassy Staff From Burkina Faso.

Sources close to the US Embassy in Ouagadougou, capital city of Burkina Fas have hinted National Telegraph that twenty two(22) children of Embassy staff will be withdrawn from the West African country by December 1, 2019.

The children, all students of the International School of Ouagadougou will be drawn for security reasons. The US Embassy says it took this step for security reasons, our source echoed. 

Burkina Faso has been facing a rise in terrorist attacks. The deadliest was on November 6, 2019, with the deaths of 38 employees of the Canadian mining company – SEMAFO.

A convoy of the company traveling to Fada N’gourma, in the East of the country was ambushed.National Telegraph also learned since November 19, 2019, the French Embassy in Ouagadougou counseled  its nationals to avoid visiting some regions of Burkina Faso which are currently the object of terrorists attacks
